Send Love to Guam – Spread Love of Taiwan
Date: November 6-10, 2013

1. On November 7 (Thu.), Chou Chin-Hua (Founder of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation), Guo Ying-Lan (President of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation), Chou Shang-Guan (Director of International Exchange Center) and Chou Tien -Guan (Head of the Chou Ta-Kuan Children's Ensemble) and other members sent love to Guam. They visited Rev. Deacon Frank Tenorio (winner of the 16^th Fervent Global Love of Lives Award): cared for the poor and the disadvantaged cared by Rev. Tenorio. Besides, the Chou Ta-Kuan Children's Ensemble put on free performances, and brought joy to the poor and the disadvantaged by music.
(1) Kamalen Karidat founded the House of Love of Second-hand Goods in 1993 helped the disadvantaged and the poor.
(2) Kusunan Kamakin Karidat established in 1999 constantly supplied vagrants with cooked food and necessities 365 days in a year.
(3) Gentle Refuge Crisis Pregnancy Center offered unmarried pregnant teens psychological counseling services.
(4) Women's Counseling Center Project Rachael – provided women who had abortion with 24-hour psychological counseling services. 2. On the morning of November 8 (Fri.), the Foundation paid a visit to Make-A-Wish, Foundation, cared for sick children in the Make-A-Wish Foundation with music and gifts, and held sharing of life and exchange forum. In the evening, twentieth anniversary charity concert of Kamalen Karidat was held. 1,000 volumes of the Chou Ta-Kuan's I Still Have One Leg (English version) were donated to Kamalen Karidat to raise love funds, and all the proceeds from the charity sales were donated to Kamalen Karidat to help those in need. Previous winners of the Fervent Global Love of Lives Award in Guam, Natasha Leon Guerrero Perez and Rev. Tenorio brought love together, shared life stories and took photo.

3. On the morning of November 9 (Sat.), Chou Ta-kuan Foundation paid a visit to the people of Guam. Overseas Chinese held dialogs and sharing of life, performed Taiwan folk songs, and expressed that love never ended via music. In the afternoon, the Foundation sent love to the Chamorro tribe, donated the Chou Ta-Kuan'd I Still Have One Leg (English version) and Taiwan handicrafts, and expressed "Boundless Love" through music.
