Taiwan Love. Europe Compassion – Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation for Culture and Education delegation sends love to Germany, UK, and Poland

Sending Love to Germany
Meeting with Maysoun Berkdar, recipient of the 27th Global Love of Life Medal in 2024, supporting her advocacy for global refugees, advocating for their dignity and rights.

Meet with Ryyan Alshebl, winner of the 27th Global Love of Life Medal in 2024, and Clemens Goetz, the former mayor who mentored him, to inspire refugees worldwide to embrace hope and endless possibilities.
Additionally, it is planned that Chou Shang-Guan, Director of International Exchange Center Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation, will conduct cross-border interviewsto complete the autobiographical life story "There is Light in the Black Forest," honoring the two mayors who selflessly illuminated the world, along with local Nobel Prize laureate Hermann Hesse.


Sending Love to the UK
Meeting with Martin Pistorius, recipient of the 20th Global Love of Life Medal in 2017, and his family. Fuji Television from Japan has completed a documentary on Martin, soon to be aired. Meanwhile, Hollywood is preparing to film his extraordinary life story, full of blood, tears, and miracles, from South Africa to the UK, deeply moving audiences. This includes adding a cross-border Taiwanese award-winning journey. The birth and upbringing challenges of baby angel Sebastian, diligent learning of Chinese by the little angel to become the youngest volunteer at Chou Ta-Kuan International, and other plots will be published as picture books, benefiting more vulnerable children—especially those surviving in war zones.

Sending Love to Poland
Meeting with Mariusz Konrad Kędzierski, recipient of the 22nd Global Love of Life Medal in 2019, a Polish artist born without arms. Despite facing three years of pandemic challenges and his mother's illness, he also welcomed a newborn, demonstrating resilience in facing life's extremes. The Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation for Culture and Education, flying over 9,000 kilometers across the ravaged war zones of Russia and Ukraine, has decided to present Chou Ta-Kuan's legacy work "I Still Have One Leg" in Polish and Chinese (with personal illustrations), benefiting all sick children in Poland.
