2009 Send Love to Beijing, Qingdao and Tianjin

1. October 11-21, 2009 (Mon.): 3:30 pm, Chou Chin-Hua (Founder of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation), Guo Ying-Lan (President of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation), Sophia Chao (Vice President & Executive CEO of Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation), Sun Hsin-I (Secretary-General), Chen Ju-Shan (Deputy CEO), Chou Shang-Guan (Head of the Chou Ta-Kuan Children's Ensemble), Chou Tien-Guan (Deputy Head), and Kao Ying (Director of Mother of Love Volunteer Group) led previous winner of the Fervent Global Love of Lives Award Liang Yi (Wheelchair Phoenix), Chang Yun-Cheng (One-finger Fighter), Chang Yun-Peng (Armless Painter), Liao Ting-Hao (music talent with multiple disabilities) and his father, in the Resources Middle School of Beijing Beida, Beijing to hold the press conference for Let Love Rise─Donation of Royalty from the Publication of Chou Ta- Kuan's Works in Beijing and Exhibition of Chou Ta-Kuan's Poetry and Painting. Chou Shang-Guan and the Chou Ta-Kuan Children's Ensemble played the saxophone, Chou Tien-Guan played the ocarina, and Liao Ting-Hao (music talent with multiple disabilities) played the accordion. Liang Yi (Wheelchair Phoenix), Chang Yun-Cheng (One-finger Fighter) and Chang Yun-Peng (Armless Painter) shared life stories and, and presented the book I Still Have One Leg, moving more than 1,000 teachers and students present. 2.  October 15, 2009 (Thu.): 9:30 am, Chou Chin-Hua, Guo Ying-Lan, Sun Hsin-I, Chen Ju-Shan, Chou Shang-Guan, Chou Tien-Guan, Kao Ying, Liao Ting -Hao and his father paid a visit to Shangdong TV and office of China Confucius Foundation. Tung Chih-Chiang (Director of Jinan Taiwan Merchants' Association), Chu Li-Hua (Chief Editor, Shandong TV), Chang Chu-Chen (Producer of the program "Parents"), Lu Ming-His (Chief Editor), and Kung Hsiang-Lin (Deputy Director, Confucius Institute) received Chou Ta-Kuan's I Still Have One Leg presented to the Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation. Meanwhile, Chou Shang-Guan and the Chou Ta-Kuan Children's Ensemble played the saxophone, Chou Tien-Guan played the ocarina and Liao Ting-Hao (music talent with multiple disabilities) performed the accordion. 3. October 19, 2009 (Mon.): 10am, Chou Chin-Hua, Guo Ying-Lan, Sun Hsin-I, Chen Ju-Shan, Chou Shang-Guan, Chou Tien-Guan, Kao Ying, Liao Ting-Hao and his father visited Qingdao Children's Hospital. Chou Shang-Guan and the Chou Ta-Kuan Children's Ensemble, Chou Tien-Guan and Liao Ting-Hao (music talent with multiple disabilities) played the saxophone, ocarina and accordion respectively. They accompanied the sick children and their families. With the help of the president Chen Wen-I and Lu Hsiao-Lung, principal of caring lighting parent-children association, they presented books to over 200 sick children and families, accompanied the sick children and their families to share the moments of love. 4. On October 20, 2009 (Tue.): 11am, Chou Chin-Hua, Guo Ying-Lan, Sun Hsin-I, Chen Ju-Shan, Chou Tien-Guan, Liao Ting-Hao and his father as well as Tianjin Din Tai Fung Restaurant sent love to the disabled and sick school children in Tianjin, and presented them the Chou Ta-Kuan's "I Still Have One Leg". With the accompaniment of Liao Ting-Hao and the accompany of the Tianjin Women's Federation, the children in Tianjin Children's Welfare Institute put on sign language performances to return the favor.
