Send Love to South Korea's 119 Rescue Team
Date: June 16 -20, 2015
1. In response to the invitation of South Korea's 119 Rescue Team, to offer constant care to the disadvantaged groups and to exert the positive effects of the international humanitarian care, the Foundation led the earthquake warrior Chang Ching-Hung and other Taiwan life warriors to send love to South Korea, and carried out a series of awards, free performances, exchanges and charity activities. Meanwhile, the Foundation donated all income from the charity sale of the South Korean version I Still Have One Leg, a posthumous work of the little anticancer poet Chou Ta-Kuan, to offer help to the disadvantaged children with cancer in South Korea.
► On June 16, Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation reached the Incheon International Airport, and the 119 Rescue Team welcomed the Foundation at the airport.
2. On June 17 and in the base of the 119 Rescue Team in Daegu, the earthquake fighter Chang Ching-Hung, who was rescued by the 119 Rescue Team in the Taiwan 1999 Jiji earthquake 16 years ago, extended the gratitude from all sectors of Taiwan to the 119 Rescue Team for sending love and rescuing people overseas. The "Chou Ta -Kuan Children's Ensemble", consisting of life warrior – sunshine leukemia angel Chang Yun-Wei, disabled busker Hsu Yu-Wei, disabled piano angel Wang T'ing-Chieh and brain cancer and monocycle warrior Yeh Chia-Ming, put on musical performance to thank the care and support for Taiwan from all walks of life in Taiwan.
