16 Fervent Global Love of Lives Awards Awarded. Awardees Deliver Speeches at School
Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, awarded the Fervent Global Love of Lives award to people from 16 different countries after selection from over 2000 nominees. This week the foundation will hold events all over Taiwan and tomorrow (November 18th) the award ceremony will be held at St. Dominic Catholic High School where 16 awardees will receive their award virtually at 13:30, while conversing with students; sharing their experiences and spreading positivity.
This event was opened with a musical performance, firstly by the world’s first orchestra with down-syndrome and St. Dominic Catholic High School’s orchestra. Next, Ji Peng-Fong performed plastic diabolo rings. The Founder of Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, Chou Chin-Hua expressed: in hopes of enabling warriors’ spirit of fervent love of lives to spread across the globe, the ceremony was held virtually at St. Dominic Catholic High School, as requested by residents of Kaohsiung. He expressed his gratitude towards the president of National Kaohsiung Normal Univeristy, Wu Lian-Shang, principal of St. Dominic Catholic High School Lin Yao-Long and other staff members for their full support.
Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation promotest events under their Fervent Global Love of Lives scheme to advocate for 3 main concepts related to self-care, respect for others and protection of the earth. To date, the foundation has shown recognition to 402 people from 7 continents and 68 different countries through their Fervent Global Love of Lives Award. Furthermore, renowned poet Zheng Chou-Yu, Song Cheng-Bao and 15 others have been awarded the Literary Composition Award by the foundation; spreading fervent love of life throughout the world.
Chairman of Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, Guo Ying-Lan expressed that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award ceremony will be held virtually this year, commemorating awardees from Columbia, Spain, Russia, Japan, Bhutan, England, The United States of America, Japan, Myanmar, Mainland China, Venezuela, Australia, Niger, Malaysia and Taiwan through the Fervent Global Love of Lives Award.
