Enlighten the life with music
Lyu Wen-Gui, male, born in 1984 in Sandimen, Pingtung County, an aboriginal of Paiwan Tribe, a music teacher of Huei Ming School (Taichung County) and first violin player of Hui Ming Musical Group. In the last 8 years, he was invited for attending over 300 performances at jails, schools and communities and so on, bringing about joy and encouragement with music. He was awarded Grade-2 certificate of ABRSM, 3rd and 6th place in piano competition of National Piano Competition.
He was the second eldest brother in five children of his family, and was given birth prematurely, leading to blindness and serious disorder of intelligence. He was looked after by his grandma until 7 years old when he went to Huei Ming School. His potential talent in music was enlightened and exploited by the president Ms. Chen Li-Yu, teacher Ms. Hsieh Chian-Chi, Ms. Lin Chih-An, Ms. Lai Ching-Tong and Mr. Lin Wen-Yeh of Huei Ming School. So, he was good at some musical instruments such as piano, violin, electronic organ, marimba, flute, harmonica and so on.
Wen-Gui was active and open-minded, particularly he could meet the challenges in life and try his best to enlighten the indigenous people with music. So, we are expecting him to present more excellent performance in the international stage.
