Life Earthquake
    Due to unknown infection, Jhih-Yuan Wang, Assistant Professor of the Department of Business Management, National Sun Yat-sen University suffered from multiple organ failures and almost died in 2015. Although he was alive, the ends of his limbs had to be amputated for necrosis caused by poor circulation.
    After he was discharged, he got electronic arms and artificial legs. He relearned how to stand, eat and type. Less than one year later, he returned to the university to give lessons on September 21, 2016. All students cheered for him, “Miracle”! All of them were moved very much! This is like the great earthquake on September 21, 1999.
    He positively treats great changes in his life, sees through life and death and has passion for life. He takes one step at a time and lives in the moment. He passes on his knowledge without sparing and intends to lead more students to continue exploration, practice lifelong learning and embrace the challenges ahead. 
    Just as described above, he has turned the weird disease into great love, defeated Death, returned to the platform and brought hope for others. He deserves the title, “Professor of Miracle”.
