A splendid life of Mother Earth
      Cao You-Fang, female, born in 1942 in Shanghai, once acting as a chief editor of some journals and newspaper offices, including literature page of “Eastern and Western World”, “Centre Daily News”, vice chairman of “National Organization for Women”, director of “Association of Overseas Female Chinese Writers”. Now, she acts as a publisher of Yuansheng and Fangchih publishing and Prophet Press as well as a director of “AMMPE”, a life-long volunteer of “Detao Cancer Foundation”. Her works include: novels, essays, scribbles and subjects on men and women, women’s growth and psychology; she was selected as a woman of the time in 1999.
      Despite of the challenge of cancer, Cao You-Fang expressed her optimism and enthusiasm in the book--“Living calmly and actively”. Like a Mother Earth, she was rich in her career, writing, life, for example, her bright and elegant home, her meaningful words, her clean and orderly office. She was brave and also gentle in her life until the last moment, she resembled like a large piece of beautiful lavender from Hokkaido and a cluster of wave blossoming in the summer with charming life.
