1.   Purpose: To promote the spirit of “love of lives” and encourage the public to pursue self-fulfillment in the endless field of life.

2.   Participants: People around the globe.

3.   Theme: Self-made theme. Free creation. Life stories of the true, the good and the beautiful of oneself or others.

4.   Awards: 
      (1)The Global Life Literary Creativity Award (minimum 60,000 words). One best contender will be selected with NT$150,000 award and a trophy. 
      (2)The Global Children’s Life Literary Creativity Award (approximately 30,000 words). One best contender will be selected with NT$150,000 award and a trophy.
      (3)The Global Life Literary Junior Author Award (limited to authors under 18 years old. More than 20 pieces of life stories with about 1,000 words each, or more than 30 pieces of articles about life with about 600 words each, or more than 50 life poems. Please attach illustrations for each life story, life article and life poem. If the work and illustration is not done by the same author, the award will be split in half). One best contender will be selected with NT$150,000 award and a trophy.

5.   Collection time: Between April 1st and September 30th each year based on the proof of postal stamp. Late application will not be accepted.

6.   Collection methods:
      (1)For those contending for “The Global Life Literary Creativity Award” and “The Global Children’s Life Literary Creativity Award”, please send your materials to this organization with two thousand words autobiography, two casual photos, a consent letter of copyright donation to this organization when awarded and detailed contact phone number and address.
      (2)Those contending for “The Global Life Literary Junior Author Award” should be recommended by school. Please have your school send the materials collectively with indication of name, age, the name of the school you are currently attending, class, advisor, detailed contact phone number and address of the teacher and student, and a consent letter of copyright donation to this organization when awarded.

7.   Evaluation: Three stages - first review, second review and final review - will be processed by judges of famous literary authors and scholars invited by this organization.

8.   Announcement: The awarded list will be announced at the end of January of next year.

9.   Award presentation: The winners shall attend the New Book Publication Announcement and receive the award on May 18 of next year, the memorial date of Chou Ta-Kuan’s passing away.

10.   Promotion: The winning works will belong to this organization to be promoted in volumes and provided for sale for other public benefit organizations in order to take care of more people in need.

12.   Remarks: Those works participating in the selection will not be returned whether awarded or not.
